Halloween Party this Saturday
Westbury's annual Halloween party is this Saturday from 12pm - 3pm at the tennis courts. Lots of fun is planned including an inflatable slide, sandwiches, treats, and more! We are hoping for good weather but watch this mailing list on Friday afternoon for any changes in the event that poor weather is forecasted for Saturday.

Westbury social events are only possible due to volunteer participation in assisting with setup and cleanup. If you are planning on attending the party this Saturday, PLEASE help us with setup at 11:30 am or stay a few minutes after 3:00 pm to help with cleanup. These events rely on your help! Please contact Tammy Adler at 678 624 9311 or thadler@comcast.net if you are able to give us a few minutes of your time to help with this event.

** Westbury Annual HOA Meeting November 10
Westbury's annual Homeowners Association Meeting is on Tuesday November 10 at Abbotts Hill Elementary School 7pm - 8:30pm. No major items are on the agenda this year but we will share some of the survey results with you and review our budget (which is in great shape!).


** Board Nominations Open
We have a couple of people leaving the Board this year. Board nominations are now open with voting to take place at the meeting on November 10. If you cannot attend the meeting but you would like your name on the ballot, please make sure to let us know prior to the board meeting. This is all communicated in a snail mail (required by law) that we sent the association in early October. Participation on the Board of Directors requires a few hours a month to attend to Westbury business. If you cannot participate on the Board, we appreciate your volunteering to help on other committees.


** Our New Phone #
We have established a free phone number through Google Voice. Our new number is 678-901-WCAI or 678-901-9224. This number may be used to discuss your account. The Board of Directors can also always be contacted via board@westburyhoa.org or our personal phone numbers which are published in the Westbury directory.


** Bus Dropoff/Pickup Procedures
Please be reminded of the school bus dropoff and pickup procedures published at
http://westburyhoa.org/bus_procedures_2009.pdf

The procedures are especially important for elementary school dropoff and pickup where it is prohibited to park on the pool side of Sheringham Lane. You can park on the far (west) side of Sheringham but not on the side closest to the pool in order to insure the bus has enough room to maneuver, and to insure the bus driver can see both sides of the street. This policy insures the safety of everyone's children. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.


** Please SLOW DOWN
Many continue to drive through Westbury at excessive speeds. Repeat violators will have their license plates reported to the city of Johns Creek Police. Please take your foot off the accelerator and drive less than 25 MPG. thank you!


** Volunteers Needed - Directory Audit
We plan to audit the directory this Fall and need a few more people to make phone calls to all Westbury homeowners confirming directory data. If you can help us with this task please contact board@westburyhoa.org.
