All three pumps have been turned back on and are working properly to circulate the water around the pool which removes the plaster dust from the surface. 

The pool is being brushed daily in order to get rid of the dust and achieve a smooth surface.  Because the dust from the new plaster increases the PH of the water chemistry, chemicals are being added to keep the PH down.  Also the dust from the plaster increases the pressure in our sand filters so we are watching the pressure daily and backwashing as needed.

The alkalinity of the water is also being closely watched since it has to be within specific limits so that the new plaster cures properly.

No chlorine has been added yet since fresh water from the water towers already includes some chlorine.  The leaves and debris from recent storms were vacuumed out in order to help the water chemistry remain within limits.

The new surface will be brushed for the next two weeks.  After brushing is completed, chlorine will be added as needed before the pool is winterized. 
The cover will not go on the pool until the pool's surface has completely cured and the water chemistry is at correct levels for winterization.

Chlorine will be added to keep the water clean.  The new surface will be brushed over the following weeks to give it the correct texture.  Once brushing is completed and the PH and chlorine levels are optimal for winterization, the pool cover will be placed over the pool for the off season.

We plan to take the cover off very early in 2011 to allow plenty of time for chemistry balancing and other tests.

One hose was placed at the bottom of the pool on low flow so that the pressure of the water doesnt damage the new topcoat.
