ARC Guidelines Checklist

The following represents some of the more common violations that the ARC has noticed within the subdivision.  Below is an abbreviated list of guidelines that can be used to determine if your property is in compliance with the Covenants.

Lawn Maintenance

  • Lawn is cut regularly to ensure it does not exceed 2 inches in length
  • Any bare patches are seeded or sod
  • Curb lines, walkways, driveways, tree circles, and planting bed edges are properly edged as needed to maintain a neat, clean appearance.
  • The lawn does not invade planting beds, tree circles, AC Units etc…
  • Fescue growth within Bermuda lawns should be trimmed even with Bermuda grass

  • NOTE: Never blow or dump lawn refuse (such as fallen leaves and lawn clippings) into storm drains.  Leaves and grass clippings will clog storm drains.  When storm drains clog, flooding will occur resulting in costly damage to foundations and landscaping.  Please remind your landscapers and lawn service technicians to remove lawn waste and dispose of it in a legal landfill. Fulton county is permitted by law to dig up your yard without permit, to repair any clogged storm drainage.

Planting Bed Maintenance

  • Plants/Shrubs are properly trimmed
  • Planting beds are properly mulched or pine strawed
  • Weeds and invasive grass are kept under control

Home Maintenance

  • Paint (house and trim) is not faded or peeling and appears neat and clean
  • No mold or mildew is apparent on any house surface
  • No red clay stain is apparent on any house surface
  • Walkways and driveways are clean and free of debris

Miscellaneous

  • Garbage cans are store out of sight
  • Cars are not parked on the street overnight or obstructing passage
  • Garage doors are kept closed when not in use
  • Wooded area do not contain debris or high weeds
  • All fences are maintained (ie: stained/pressure washed)
